appearance;; Nikosi stands around 5’11.” His body frame is slender and athletic with slightly chiseled abs. He is 17, but the only hair he has can be seen on his head. Because of his Native American heritage, his skin is copper toned and smooth with no completely obvious scars. His hair is dark and cropped, almost always in a spiked or messy look and his eyes are a deep brown that often seem to have a hypnotizing, alluring affect for those who look him straight in the eye.
As far as his choice of clothes, it ranges around jeans, t-shirts, leather jacket, outdoor shoes, or basically anything that can last long enough for his constant exploring, hiking, and morphing. He doesn't really follow the fashion trend for he thinks he's hot enough as it is, so why make it worse?
personality;; For the most part Nikosi is a friendly and outgoing individual in almost all aspects. The only time this would change is if he is angry or nervous. On a good day he is playful, energetic, fun loving teen who just likes to hang with his friends or goof off. Deep down he is loyal and very protective to those he cares about and has a strong desire to succeed in anything he does. He thinks those that give up are cowards, so he’s known to give his all in any task before him.
As for his flaws, Niko has the tendency to be stubborn, even if he knows he’s wrong, its hard for him to let go. Also on the rare instances he does get mad he sometimes has the tendency to overreact on the situation as well as jump to conclusions. If you cross him, betray his trust, or hurt his friends or family, Niko will rarely forgive and will likely seek vengeance on the culprit without mercy. He also is known to go with his gut feeling over rational and logical thought and often acts without thinking. In some cases this is beneficial, whereas others it only brought humiliating failure.
history;; Nikosi was born on a cold winter’s eve to a small loving family. His heritage goes back to both Cherokee and Scottish/ Irish decent. In fact his mother Miakoda was a daughter of a Cherokee shaman in the local reservation. For most of his childhood, Niko lived within the Smokey Mountains National Park, for his father Charlie was head of the forest rangers. This gave the young kid likely the largest playground in the world, having permission to roam most of the territory near their house.
Until he was about 15, Nikosi had a normal life for the most part. Between being home-schooled by his mother, exploring the park, and causing the usual trouble a teen his age would commit, but by that year his X-gene took effect. His grandfather had always said he was a boy with many totems, but it wasn’t until his first transformation that he really understood. He had gotten in a bitter argument with his father after he “accidentally” crashed his father’s new jeep into a tree. Charlie had given him an outrageous punishment, or so he felt, and in a rage he turned into a grizzly and nearly demolished the house. Seeing this, his parents were worried for both their and his safety, understanding those with ‘special’ talents were often taken away or hated. Not wanting that for their son they tried to keep his abilities a secret, but as the time passed his curiosity and tendency to change became stronger.
Then one night, a few days after his 17th birthday, his parents received an invitation from Xavier’s School meant for those like him. Under the guarantee he would learn to control and better his gifts as well as live in a place he could truly belong, Niko was sent to Westchester to become a student. Now newly arrived, who knows what lies before him.

power(s);;Once fully developed he will be capable of taking on the characteristics or attributes of one or several animals. A good example would be the strength of a bear, wings of an eagle, claws of a tiger, etc. if it requires a physical change, any transformation would be proportional to his size and body( ex. His wingspan would be roughly 15 feet instead of the 4-6 on a real eagle). To take on these characteristics, though, requires (at the moment) a great deal of concentration for anything to take affect at all. He has to be in tune with what’s around him as well as the animal he wants to become. He has to be able to clearly visualize himself taking on the specific animal attribute. There has been occurrences where intense feeling or emotions drew a certain ability out, but it is usually short lived. Transforming back seems to be the hard part, for until he can visualize or completely relax, the characteristics will remain.
He also can completely transform into any said animal, but usually is larger than the original counterpart. This takes more concentration than above and as of right now it is a slow process and hard to master. It will take him a good deal of training to be able to morph in seconds as well as be able to obtain enough endurance to not fall asleep afterward. Continuous morphing is exhausting to the body and sooner or later his energy is spent.
When in his animal form he can communicate telepathically to those in the general area. Out of all his abilities this is the easiest to handle, unless he’s trying to speak to an entire group. Since he can’t communicate otherwise, at least in the human language, when morphed into a different form, this talent comes in handy in several occasions.
