(he wants no part of candle lit ceremonies or symbolic sacrifices or anything like that, so he stays far, far away from religion because he thinks stuff like that is very powerful. On the other hand, he's morbidly curious about it, too, so he does his own research and is well versed in the theory itself.)

While I know people are not perfect, and while I see plenty of usable limitations, I do not incorporate it into my post well because I forget it's there, then it leads to mistakes and me editing my post and everyone getting confused and all that fun stuff. So I'd just as soon skip this.

personality;; Ruairi, or 'Ru' as most prefer, is very Irish. Lesson number one about Ru is, never, ever, ever mention his last name. He'll pretend he does not have one. Why will be explained in his history. But, his last name is one way to get him riled. He will not reveal his last name, and those who know it because it's on records in the train station and a few other places had best understand that if they don't keep quiet, Ru can and will be very upset.

Lesson two is, don't call him Roy. Rory will do just fine, but Roy? No. (he usually introduces himself as Rory, though with people he's familiar with, the pronunciation comes out a little different. Essentially, Rory is accurate.)

So. Let's move on to facts. Ruairi's got the ability to summon things, a power that he can (and does) abuse. He does not care one way or the other about mutants or humans, who's better, who's right, who's wrong, so the Corporation versus the X-Men conflict seems to go over his head. He'd rather sit on the sidelines and let them tear one another apart. Why should he risk his safety, his comfort, for something so 'trivial', anyway? Now, that's not to say everything is trivial when it comes to mutants and humans. Ruru cannot stand mutant protesters, especially violent ones (not that he really bothers to distinguish between the two when he comes upon them) and, as a result, he will fight against them whether they're mutants who just don't like being mutants, or humans that are envious or scared and retaliate with anger. Either way, Ruru doesn't ask questions, he doesn't look for an explanation, he just fights back.

Ru is very humble. He acts almost shy, the way he blushes and gets flustered over compliments (especially from people he doesn't know well, or people in power) but he lacks stage fright. Contrary, he loves drama, and he loves entertaining others in general. That impulse goes hand-in-hand with his 'natural' (he says it's natural) paternal nature. He didn't grow up with a father, but he makes up for it by taking on the role of a father/brother/male figure for others since he always sought it out. His age prevents it's effectiveness, as he's just a teen still, but he tries.

Ru is like any other kid. Or, he pretends to be. But he's really a closet nerd, getting obsessed with his hobbies (such as guitar). He's observant and analytical, but he seems ashamed of both traits, so he 'hides' them (not an easy thing to do, he fails epically often. But he tries)

Ruru is very private. He shares only what he needs to, and nothing more. Personal questions seem to fluster him, though it's just his defense when he doesn't want to talk about it. And that's all I can think of. Since I won't abide by it strictly, it seems pointless to go on.
history;; Ruairi Cian DeLeon was born in the village known best for it's haunted castle (see what I did there? With the fear and the hometown and the accent and the name?... it all fits, my friends. It all fits.) and his father was british and his mother was Irish and his ancestors somewhere way way way way back where Gaelic and his mother believed in her heritage and he learned to love the Gaelic culture, even though he'll say 'Gay-lick' if you ask him. And you never give him sugar because he's hyper on sugar. And I'd love to play a hyper Ru. And he likes rock music. And his father, the Englishman from Britian, left his mother. And he dislikes him very much. And he resents his last name because it belongs to his father. Uhm. yeah. That's all I got.

power(s);; Well. Ru seems like a kleptomaniac. But he's not. Lore holds that title firmly, at least in a literal sense. Ru, on the other hand, summons objects by drawing them in his notebook. He does not choose who he steals from- if he drew a pencil, it could be /anyone's/ pencil. And it wouldn't matter who's was closer, either, because as far as he can tell it's a random act. It does involve proximity, though- he couldn't steal something from the institute without being near it or in it, nor can he steal something from inside the high school, or inside the Corporation, unless he's close. If he has enough details right (or if the object is rare, really, like say a signed baseball) then he can get specific objects, but he has to get it right without too much error in his details, which is considerably hard for Ru. That's why he only draws things he's seen before, things he can draw from memory. But if you gave him a picture, he could draw it. He can only summon things relative to the size of his canvas, so no fifty-foot swords or anything crazy like that (unless you have a fifty-foot-wide sheet of paper, of course, and given Ru has the patience to draw it). Any other powers Ru may or may not have, have not been thought of by Shea or realized by Ruru yet.
