Desirae knew very well that exposing a young baby to the outside world and unfamiliar people was not ideal if she was doing it for no reason. It was also not a good idea to let him get too cold. But Desirae was getting anxious, spending so much time inside, and so much time away from others.
Besides, Desi could heal any illnesses he would catch. She was more than suited for the consequences. So she would enjoy the bright sunlight, and the scenery of the park as she sat on a bench, cradling Xander against her body. The sun and fresh air would be good for them both, she was sure.
"Xander,"Desi cooed softly,"That breeze feels nice, doesn't it? I'll tell your daddy to come with us next time, sweetie."
She suddenly smiled, deciding that placing Xander down on the grass, on his blanket, might be a good idea. She moved from the bench to a patch of grass next to it, spreading out a blanket she'd had on her lap. Xander didn't seem to mind the move, especially not when his mom laid down on her stomach at his side, gazing intently at him as he gazed back at her.
