Nick followed the Dark Angel down the winding hallways of the Corporation until they reached the area most of the others did not dare come near or only went if they really had to. The Dark Angel's office.
When they entered, Nick left the door open, cause he knew Kaycee would come bouncing through it at any moment.
Dark Angel went around his desk and sat down. He rolled his chair forward until he was sitting at the desk with his hands folded neatly in front of him.
Nick, be a gentleman and pull up a chair for when our dear Kaycee arrives.
Nick went into the far corner of Dark Angel's office and found a stack of chairs. He pulled off the top one and went and placed it beside the other chair sitting in front of the desk. The one Dark Angel always had there for unexpected visitors.
Having done this, Nick sat down and patiently waited for Kaycee to arrive so they could commence this little meeting.

Kaycee Hunter said a quick goodbye to her brother and walked into her room. She had never had a roomate and never would which made the place all that more enjoyable. Kaycee briskly stripped off her bloody clothes from her very recent and wonderful kill and stepped into the shower, spending only five minutes scrubbing out the caked blood her beautiful waist-length hair since she was aware the DA was waiting for her. Finished, Kaycee toweled off, ran a brush through her dark locks, and threw on a casual shirt and a pair of jeans. ( www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=5500126) In approximately ten minutes after she had left the dungeon, Kaycee arrived at the Dark Angel's office and was surprised to find the door open. Debating whether to knock or just walk in, Kaycee tapped lightly on the door and poked her head in through the crack. Sir?

Dark Angel grinned whe Kaycee poked her head in. Excellent timing Kaycee, as usual. He nodded to the empty chair beside Nick, who had turned around to see Kaycee's entrance. Come in. Close the door. And let's get down to business. Dark Angel said, clearly not wanting to waste any time.
Nick turned back around, and waited for Kaycee. Once she had shut the door and come sit down, Dark Angel began talking. I know I've been away for a while, but I need to know of everything that has happened in the past month. At least anything of importance. They didn't need to waste their time on all the training simulations and such they might have run. He needed to know about new recruits, battles, strategies, and anything else of relevance. Once they covered this, they would move on to discuss the sins and virtues and the other lab work.
Nick decided to start. Taki came to me and asked for the abusing and such to stop, so I made him your official tracker. He now lives in the room next to Jace and he is aware that he is of lower standings then everyone else. Dark Angel nodded in approval.

Kaycee smiled her captivating glance at the Dark Angel. He valued her expertise and she knew it. In return, she was loyal to him in every way and always tried to stay on his good side.
She shut the door quietly behind her and slid into the emty chair next to Nick with only a nod in his direction. Sure, she knew he was the DA's second but he had always bored her. Not to mention he was dating Lily, someone who Kaycee held respect for, so he was completely off limits.
After Nick responded to the Dark Angel's question, Kaycee patiently contributed. Jace and I tracked down an Archangel who was transferring a valuable object. He didn't respond to the torture and the object is under close surveillance though none of us are sure what it is. Also, Peyton got some information out of Taki Sato but she isn't sharing. No new recruits at this time.

Nick and Kaycee weren't the best of friends, but they had a certain respect for each other and they saw the value in having each other as an ally, so Nick silently let Kaycee say her piece to the Dark Angel.
Ah good. Excellent work Kaycee. Dark Angel said. And if that is all in the last month... He looked between the two henchmen seated before him, and Nick nodded his head. Then we can move on to dicuss the sins and virtues. Jace said that the needles were ready. Is this true? He had no doubt that they were, but he had to make sure so they could move onto the phase of his master plan.

Kaycee's perfect features immediatly turned serious. This was her job and she took it very seriously. If Kaycee couldn't fight physically, this was something she could do - and do well.
This is correct sir. Esther and I have prepared the needles.

Dark Angel smirked. Yes. His plan's were well in motion. The needles wee filled, meaning the sins were ready to be distrubuted to those he had been studying as the perfect candidates. He had had one of the scientists come up to his office, one of the days before he had left on his own special mission, and had handed him the list of those he wanted to infect.
Before I had to leave, one of you sent Mr. Jason to my office to inform me that the needles would be ready shortly and I gave him the list of those I wanted to be infected. Tell me, did he ever get the list to you?
--If your confused, read the audition piece I did lol--

Kaycee bit her lip in concentration and then her eyes lit up with remembering. I do remember this... although I believe one of his associates brought it to me as Mr. Jason was in the infirmiry?
Kaycee could only imagine what the Dark Angel had done to his scientist that day and was impressed. The DA had never disappointed in being an example of how to treat those beneath you at the Corporation.

Nick felt a smirk cross his face. He remembered that day as well. He obviously had not been presence, but it was clear that Dark Angel had been the one who had inflicted Mr. Jason's near fatal wound. He kept quiet for now to let Dark Angel and Kaycee talk. Although he was second in command and well aware of what they were talking about, he did not work in the lab so he didn't know about the state the sins were in.
Dark Angel looked amused as he nodded. Yes, I thought that might happen, but now he knows to never doubt me. He allowed for a moment's pause. Now I assume you have reviewed the list of candidates for each sin. What do you think?
Nick decided now was a good a time as any, and cleared his throat, interjecting. Sorry to interrupt sir. I have not reviewed the list yet.
Dark Angel looked over and looked confused for a moment but shrugged it off. Really? Oh, well I did leave shortly after, I shouldn't be surprised. He reached into his desk and pulled out a copy of the list, handing it over to the list. I think you will be interested in it.
Nick quickly scanned down the list. He recognized some names, others he didn't. There was one that made his face pale though. Allison Collins..... Shit. He kept his neutral face on as he handed the list back to Dark Angel, who looked amused.

Well sir, Kaycee crossed her long and elegant legs and folded her hands in her lap as she thought aloud to the Dark Angel. I was not surprised to see my brother's name on there. He would do anything to serve your cause and I believe he thinks this will help. I assume it will?
She continued, glancing at Nick whose face was blank but his posture was stiff. Is your girlfriend on the list Nicholas? I can't remember but you seem rather pale. She smirked at him, enjoying the fact he was uncomfortable for the moment.

Kaycee's voice seemed to snap Nick out of his little trance. He relaxed in his seat, back to his usual, arrogant and confidant self. That's not a good show of dedication Kaycee. If you can't remember who's on the list, yet you're the one injecting mutants.
Dark Angel smirked. Now, now Nick. Play nicely.
Nick had made a note to be more respectful to those Dark Angel valued, which included Kaycee, but he wasn't going to stand by while she openingly taunted him like this. She was clearly relishing his brief moment of discomfort. I merely recognized a name on the list of someone I used to know. They are of no value to me though. I was just surprised is all. And surprised that Dark Angel had found her. Dark Angel knew about Nick's family, but he hadn't thought his master was aware they were all living within the same vicinity.
Dark Angel nodded. Good to hear because I can't affor to have you going soft on anybody in this time Nick.
Nick rolled his eyes and scoffed. I am only loyal to you sir. They mean nothing to me. Nick smirked. It was true. When he had broken his family times all those years ago, he had vowed to never show any weakness to him. In other words, they meant nothing.

Kaycee shifted in her sweet as a slow smile made her lips curl ever so slightly. She almost retorted to Nick's brash comment of her dedication but luckily for her, the Dark Angel intervened. That itself reminded Kaycee that the second in command could do wrong in his master's eyes adn that maybe the Dark Angel himself liked toying with his deputy as much as she did.
However, Kaycee did believe Nick about what he said in regards to his family. He had never mentioned them and listening to him now, he clearly didn't care about them. That meant the only thing he valued was his girlfriend; and if Kaycee didn't like Lily as much as she did, she would have loved to manipulate that relationship to her advantage.
So sir, I suppose the operation will begin soon? If I recall, the success rate is rather high for this kind of experiment. 96.5%? The genius girl turned back to the Dark Angel and tapped her chin thoughtfully as she spoke.

Dark Angel nodded. Oh yes. I went over this in the lab with a few of the other scientists. Before we started making the serums actually. We weighed all the pros and cons and the success rate. I must say its nearly flawless. The only thing which could hinder it is if someone on our side goes soft and changes loyalties. He grinned. I don't think we need to worry about that one. Right?
Nick nodded, sitting straighter in his chair. If anyone even thinks about betraying you, I'll slay him before he gets the chance Sir.
Dark Angel smirked. Perfect. Then we have nothing to worry about, do we? He turned to Kaycee, waiting for her response.

Kaycee nodded her head as the Dark Angel spoke and smirked to herself when Nick begged for his attention like a little lap dog. However, as long as the DA was pleased all would be well. Kaycee also didn't doubt that Nick would slit the throats of any betrayers. He had proven this and she had to give him credit for something.
Absolutely sir, the tests concluded with near perfect results. Although some of the Archangels seemed rather uneager for their participation.... what should we do about them? She asked curiously, folding her hands in her lap.

Dark Angel knew that question would come up sooner or later. What would they do about those who were unwilling to participate? However, he looked unbothered when he replied. When they joined the Corporation, they did so under the terms that they would follow me and do as I bid. They all willingly agreed. They ought to remember this.
Nick nodded. This was true, although there would still be those who would still be uneasy about this, even though they knew doing so would please Dark Angel. And what of those who still disagree?
Dark Angel smirked. We'll have to inject them by force.
Instantly an image of holding down several lackeys while they were screaming and being poked and prodded with needles came to Nick's head and he smirked.
Dark Angel say the look and chuckled his soft, malice laugh. No Nick. Not that way. You can use my special talent to do so.
Nick nodded, a smirk crossing his face. When Nick joined the Corporation, he had made himself a promise he would not use Dark Angel's powers unless he really had to. Dark Angel was their leader and therefore his powers should remain his own. Now Dark Angel was giving Nick permission to copy his persuasion.
