Liliana Nicole Jackman looked around her. The view from the Observatory was breathtaking. Beautiful flowers and healthy grass below her and unpolluted sky above. Two things people took for granted most of the time if they weren't Lily. She took a deep breath of pure air and spent a moment enjoying the time to think.

Life at the Corporation had been good for her these past six months. She realized with a start that her relationship with Nick was half a year old already. That seemed almost unbelievable to her and definetly incredible to anyone else at the Corporation. But then, no one truly understood her complex and hushed relationship with the second-in-command.

Lily sighed and looked behind her. She was taking a class in Biology at an online College to keep busy but the homework sitting on the table just looked too boring. With a mischevious grin, Lily turned away from it and closed her eyes, allowing the wind to sweep up her light brown hair.

Liana was sneaking around in the shadows again. Silent as darkness sucking up a room. Liana crept on the floor in the Observatory and noticed Liliana on a computer, looking over the railing of the observatory into the bright grassy fields. The sun was out, that was something Liana didn't like. Its bright harsh light was nothing compared to the warm grasp of darkness.

She then turned into her cat form yet still silent as darkness. Her glowing yellow eyes glittered in the light and her long black tail slithered in the air. She began to walk slowly towards Liliana from behind, still so silent. She then jumped up onto the railing and moved silently towards Liliana. Darkness warped around her and she began forming into her human form. Holding her head to Liliana's ear she whispered "Whatcha doin?" She then smiled waiting for the look of shock on the girls face.

Lily turned around sharply and her palms immediatly went out in defense; the best way to channel her power was through her hands. But when she say it was just Liana, Lily sighed in relief and lowered her palms.
Liana, you scared me. How long have you been there? She accused, clutching her chest as she tried to get her heart to start beating again.

The face was perfect. A small smirk appeared on Liana's face as the fight came off of the Liliana's face. She then asked how long she had been there. "Not long, in fact I came in with your shadow." Liana laughed. "So what are you doing?" She said with a smile. The harsh light came in through the windows and Liana turned into shadow with a giggle. She then glided across the floor to the dark shade in the corner of the room. "Ah the cool touch of darkness is just so comforting. Don't you think so?" She laughed again her mischievous laugh as she evaporated into the air like black smoke in the wind. She was going to visit the boss.
