Alright, so I said it in the cbox, but I'm not going to be here to follow the conversation because we're going to hang out with my mom's boyfriend today <3 I'm so excited,we're going on a picnic and stuff since it's the last day of my Spring Break. And since the cbox doesn't have a 'save last zillion posts' for my benefit, I'm going to restate my point and we can discuss this issue we have.
Here's how it all works; when we started the topic, Isabelle was not supposed to die. She was supposed to get kicked out. However, it escalated (because Anna and I talk way too much on MSN which leaves everyone else out and tends to give us time to get dramatic) to become more interesting. So Isabelle dies. But I only allowed for her to die because I knew Cy could bring her back. I did not want Isabelle dead, but it's Anna's character, and with Cy, it was like it never happened so I couldn't complain.
Now we've got issues. This is how it was supposed to work. Cy was supposed to take Sin back, Sin was supposed to save Isabelle, then Sin would be the only one that remembered (but actually, logically I guess Sin wouldn't remember, since it's like it never happened, but I wanted him to remember. Completely erasing it seemed useless). But Anna and I decided that failed- they wouldn't even remember their first 'I love you'? To fix it, Isabelle saw Sinclair's memories in the therapy topic. Now Sin and Isabelle are aware of something that no one else knows happened.
This kinda limits what we can do with it. I do not want the Dark Angel to know, because I don't want Isabelle dead again so I can't just say that Cymir's power doesn't effect memories or something like that which would extend to everyone. Unless the D.A. really wasn't going to kill Isabelle a second time, or unless Phe really wants the D.A. to remember for some reason, I'm staying away from that option.
My solution is this. Everyone other character that was involved in the topic (and, if really necessary, characters that were not) can have this offer extended to them;
Since Cymir lived through the past in question,since he was a part of it, I want to say that they can convince him to take them back. If he takes them back, I would like to say that they can't change anything, it'd be like they weren't there. Like ghosts, just watching the situation, because since it didn't happen, they can't affect it anyway. And if they went back and could be noticed, it'd be very, very weird.
I don't want this plot to go on forever, I wasn't thrilled with it when it was happening, I don't need to relive it (though I must say- it all worked out in the end, and ultimately, I know it's not all about me anyway, and I'd do anything for Anna <3) So I don't want to have five separate topics where Cy takes each character back, I would prefer you just assume he did if that's what you want. I mean, come on, he's seven. A teenager can get a seven year old to do what they want, and Cy's pretty good at liking to help out. He's easily bribed.
That's how I would suggest it should be handled. That way Anna and I don't have this dramatic plot all to ourselves. You were willing to participate, we shouldn't just assume your characters don't want to remember, or shouldn't remember. Maybe you don't care, maybe you'd prefer your characters don't remember, I don't pretend to know. But I think it should be your call. If you have any ideas about why or if your character should remember, or how this should be handled (because I'll go with whatever, it doesn't have to work as I suggested above), go ahead and reply here and we can work this out together and hopefully kind of bring this all to an end so that the Sin/Kaycee (and all future topics concerning the involved characters) can be understood. We need to be on the same page, I think.
