&& . i'll leave this life behind me //
HEAVEN'S GATES WON'T OPEN UP FOR ME ;; Mykka Sheridan, also known as Sher or Ginger.
WITH THESE BROKEN WINGS I'M FALLING ;; Female
AND ALL I SEE IS YOU ;; Unknown, she stopped counting at 500
THESE CITY WALLS AIN'T GOT NO LOVE FOR ME ;; August Fifteenth, but she doesn't celebrate it anymore.
I'M ON THE EDGE OF THE EIGHTEENTH STORY ;; Caledonia, better known now as Scotland.
AND OH I SCREAM FOR YOU ;; Bisexual, she's too old to care anymore.
COME PLEASE I'M CALLING ;; Fear of not dying; Try and figure that one out.
AND ALL I NEED IS YOU ;; She rather suicidal, she just doesn't stay dead. She's also mostly mute, by choice. Nothing she says will make a difference anyway.
HURRY I'M FALLING, I'M FALLING ;; For the most part, Mykka has a rather uncaring attitude about her. She finds it particularly difficult to care about much, let alone people that will wither and die before she appears so much as a day older. There have been a few exceptions at various points in her life, of course, but none recently. Unlike most, she isn't afraid of death. In fact, she's come to the conclusion that it must be afraid of her, since it keeps pushing her back. She's got quite a bit of a broken heart, though she'd never admit it and it’s hidden to most. She often feels out of place, old fashioned, and so on, still able to reminisce back to the days when the world was believed to be flat. She longs for friends, but knows that she'll just lose them and so she shies away from companionship. She's often seen in the hospital after a suicide attempt. Many think she's depressed as a result of this, and she sort of is.
SHOW ME WHAT ITS LIKE ;; She was born many, many years ago in good old Scotland. Or, at least, what would become Scotland. She was set into an arranged marriage at a young age, even for the time. She never rebelled or resented it; It was the way it was to be. They came to appreciate each other, although there was certainly no love between them. Her power awakened when she was eighteen, though it wasn't noticeable at first. Then, slowly, everyone else began to get older, and she simply stayed the same. Before she knew it, all her friends, siblings and parents were dead and gone, and her children seemed older than she did. Afraid, she ran.
It never stopped. Years, so many years she lost track, went by and she watched the world grow up. She still tried to be a part of normal life, tried to live like she would die tomorrow. She was married a few more times, this time of her choosing, and loved deeply only to be sent into mourning far too early. She grew bitter, and stayed that way until the First World War came around. That was when she discovered not only did aging not happen, but death rejected every fiber of her body.
She was in a town that was being taken over by the Germans when she got shot. All she remembered was a brief pain and then darkness. After that, an indescribable pain racked her body and she was jolted back, the bullet hole healing and the metal clattering against the street. She feared this change, and she avoided situations dangerous enough to kill her for many more years. Eventually she left Britain, where she had become situated rather nicely for quite some time after resurrection.
She wandered aimlessly through the Americas for years, withdrawing into herself more and more as technology advanced and left her in its wake. This wasn't to say she didn't understand it; She did. She had little else to do with her time than learn everything she could about this and that. By the time she reached Bayville, she was becoming desperate to stop this torture and she had resorted to nearly being completely mute and suicidal. Every few weeks, the emergency room would have her hauled in by ambulance, only to make a rapid and miraculous recovery and leave again. They were worried for her mental health, of course, but she was perfectly sane and passed every mental test put forth to her with flying colors. Her most recent attempt was to electrocute herself in a bathtub; she’s currently at the hospital "recuperating".
&& . say it if it's worth saving me //
TO BE THE LAST ONE STANDING ;; N/A
AND TEACH ME WRONG FROM RIGHT ;; Immortality, resulting in no aging and resurrection after death. Fatal injuries or injuries sustained before death will be healed very rapidly post-resurrection. However, non-fatal injuries without fatal inuries afterwards will heal at a normal rate. Poison, radiation, and other such substances which could kill in certain doses also have no effect on her.
AND I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT I CAN BE ;; Lone mutant, no connections, no pain
