No, no that doesn't work. She thought miserably to herself, scribbling out the whole paragraph she'd been writing. She restarted, though the idea was similar, and continued on after that, looking much more satisfied with whatever she had written this time. It apparently worked better. Then, suddenly, the ideas stopped and she scowled. She slapped the notebook shut noisily and stood up, shoving the pen into her pocket after clicking the ball point in.
She would have been annoyed, but, really, she had been about to stop anyway, so she stuck to a slightly exasperated sigh, walking up to the railing and leaning in, almost over. She enjoyed tempting death. After all, unless she really was about to die because of what she was doing, she knew for a fact she wouldn't actually die. She could feel death approaching, and it wasn't coming for her yet. As she hung, barely holding onto the railing, and feet off the ground, she didn't feel her time change, and she smiled slightly. Only slightly.
She tipped back upright and sauntered over to the other side, hand trailing along the railing as she looked down, onto the the glass top of the lab, where the sunlight glinted and glared in her eyes. A crooked, definitely evil looking, half smile flitted onto her face as she noticed one of the scientist's gloves breaking and, even though she knew it was going to kill him, she laughed. There was an obvious, maniacal tone to it, the sort that would drive many away. But she didn't care to talk to those who it would.

A black crow flew in circles around the observatory before catching sight of Moirae. It did another little circle before spiralling downward. Just as it was about to hit the ground, it swooped upwards and landed on the railing right beside the girl.
It looked upward at the girl, tilted it's head and cawed at her once before closing its peak and continuing to peer at her with its black eyes. Although most crows seemed to be glaring with their dark eyes, this one's seemed to be sparkling in amusement.

It took her a moment to register the fact there was a crow there, mostly because no animals ever got into the Corporation. Well, not of this sort anyway. Some would consider her an animal. But she was a sentient one, she knew what she was doing, even knew it was perhaps wrong, but didn't care. She was far from ever having good morals, and that was why she fit in so well with this ragtag group of evil-doers. Her smile fell from her face for a moment as she thought, and then realized who it was. Her face scrunched slightly in a scowl and reached out to whack him off the railing.
Go away Wilder. You're annoyingly perky.
She grumbled, turning away again to lean against the railing, her eyes drifting up to the glass roof of the observatory to stare at the blue sky. One would think that her, being all murderous and everything, would hate a beautiful day, but she didn't. She was also an artist after all. Not even glanced over, she continued with her rather unimpressed sounding tirade.
Shouldn't you be annoying Nick or something? Last time I checked, he was the sole object of your insane behavior.

The crow let out a squak of protest when she hit him, but managed to regain its balance and remain standing on the railing. It blinked its eyes a few times before transforming into Wilder, who sat on the railing, swinging his feet.
Aw Moirae you're no fun. He pretended to whine, a big grin on his face.
He tilted his head back to look at the sky, leaning back farther and farther until it looked like he would fall. Then he swung his upper body forward again, almost as if he was swinging on the railing.
I was actually just bored and looking for anybody. Although it was my intention to find Nick, I happened to find you first. So be flattered. I found you to be much more interesting. He said grinning the whole while. And I'm not insane.

She couldn't help the slight smirk that was plastered on her face, almost a genuine smile. Flattered? Hah. No, no she was not flattered at all. However, she wasn't in the worst of moods, so he was rather lucky. He wouldn't be dying any sooner. She did glance over at him though, finally, one eyebrow raised.
If you aren't insane, at least a little, then I have never killed a single soul.
She replied, voice laced with sarcasm before she turned and hoped up on the rail as well. She could walk away, but she knew it wouldn't help. He would just follow her, if he truly wanted company that much. She leaned backwards over the railing again, hanging off by her hands and her knees, which wrapped around the bar. It was definitely not meant to be done, but she didn't care. She rarely cared.

Wilder watched her, eyes sparkling with amusement, as she hopped up on the railing and started leaning back. Who knows? Maybe you haven't.
He continued his swinging motions of leaning back and then propelling himself forward. But aren't we all insane in some way? I mean, you're insane if you think I'm insane but you haven't tried leaving yet. He teased.

Oh, but I have. Perhaps not here, but elsewhere.
She replied, giving no more information than required. It wasn't that she didn't think she could trust anyone, she just didn't like giving out details unless she needed to. As she spoke she finally tipped so far she was directly perpendicular to the ground. She laughed softly at his comment on insanity.
I never said I was sane.
She replied, closing her eyes as the blood rushed to her head.

Wilder knew what Moirae was capable of, so he had been teasing before, though he decided not to tell her so. She'd probably kill him... literally.
We swung his body around and laid down on the railing until he was perfectly balanced. Then he let his arms drop, showing he was relaxed.
Meh. Everyone's crazy. If you insist you're not crazy, then clearly you are. If you say you're crazy.... well at least you can accept it. But I mean, life's more fun if you can accept you're crazy and you act upon it.
At this point he had run out of things to say and was just babbling. Probably annoying Moirae but he didn't care. Afterall, he was the master of pissing people off, though half the time it was because he was surrounded by people who insisted on spreading anger and hate and he was always so cheerful.

She grunted and shrugged in response, though the shrugging itself was a little difficult see as she was upside down with her hands still on the railing. Then, she finally opened her eyes again and tipped upright. She just wasn't in the mood to have blood rushing to her head, although she often did enjoy the feeling.
Whatever you say.
She said that often, usually rather than the mumbled 'yes', 'yeah', and 'sure' of the average person who wasn't paying attention, she reverted to a phrase that covered a bit more ground, or, so she figured.

Wilder tilted his head from side to side, to keep it from cramping up. Maaaan, you guys are never any fun. He said, just out of the blue.
All you Archangel guys are so serious. You know you won't die if you have a little fun and go out every now and then right? He knew what he was saying was totally random, but hey, it was true.
It's not like Dark Archangel need us at every given moment around the clock, so loosen up a little! He sat up, a big grin on his face. He swung off the railing and landed on his feet a couple feet away. Come on! I'm bored. Let's do something!

I do go out, thank you very much! And did you ever think, for one little tiny moment, that perhaps I like doing nothing on occasion?! Just because you like to keep busy every fucking second of the day does NOT mean that everyone else does!
Okay, so Rae had finally snapped. But he had been asking for it the whole time already. Clearly furious that he acted as if he knew exactly what she thought and what she did all day, even though he quite obviously didn't, she slid off the banister, practicing self-control and turning to storm away rather than do anything to him, no matter how very tempting. If he followed her though, she decided that she could not be responsible for whatever action she took in retaliation.

He pretended to look sad until she turned her back, then he allowed an overly huge smirk to cross his face. He spent a few seconds silently laughing and trying to contain himself. When he was under control he bounced over to Moirae and walked along beside her.
Never said everyone had to keep busy to have fun. He said in a surprisingly neutral tone. i just merely wondered out loud why everyone has to be so serious.... like now? He grinned and took a step back, preparing to duck if need be.

Somebody has to be, if only to balance out you.
She grumbled, sending a glare his way, deciding to not try and hit him, no matter how tempting. After all, he was expecting it, and where was the fun in that? Not to mention, because of it, she'd probably miss anyway, and there was absolutely no satisfaction in missing. None at all.
Her glare dissipated a bit though, as she looked away, eyes trailing the ceiling above, which, where they were, was still glass, not noticing as she ended up following the railing instead of turning off to go back through the halls and out of the observatory. Her next comment was perhaps the very first civil thing she had ever said to Wilder, though she didn't seem to notice that either.
And, really, have you ever known death to be anything but somber? It sort of runs in the blood, at least for me. Always has.

Ahhhh yes. Balance. That's it. He crossed his arms and nodded thoughtfully, as if this explained it all. If one were to compare him, he would closely resemble Rafiki from the Lion King. Although he was acting all deep and serious, he was still just joking around.
Death... Mmmm. Moirae was acting all serious so he decided to at least act somewhat calm. After all, death was a serious topic. It deserved that much at least. Ah, well death is part of life. A mystery. The unknown.... Can't fear the unknown so why fear death? his childish grin was back on his face. Okay, seriousness out the window in the span of 2 seconds.

I never said I feared it. And, really, why would I? I feel it, every day. If that doesn't make something grow on you in some way, I really dunno what does.
She replied, but found herself simply smiling and shaking her head at the grin on his face. She really didn't get how he could always be so happy, all the time, no matter what the topic was. It just didn't make sense to her. But, then again, she'd always been a bit more on the tame side, so she didn't expect she'd ever quite figure him out.
