Jace was sweating when he got back to the Corporation. This only fueled his rage at the little worm lying limp on his back. The trek had been about 2 km from the Docks back to the Corp because their van had been stolen also by the kid who was now their prisoner. As soon as he and Kaycee arrived at the Corp's dungeon, he had the pleasure of waking up Noel without any signs of gentleness.
Jace threw Noel into the cell and happily grabbed the bucket of water Kaycee held out to him silently. The two didn't usually speak in front of prisoners - they had the gift of being able to communicate fairly well with their eyes. Probably a twin thing.
Jace watched with contentment as Noel sputtered under the water he dumped on him through the cell's bars. He raised an eyebrow at his sister and she took the lead. Good morning sunshine, nice bruise there. Kaycee said venomously, waving her fingers in a fake wave at Noel's fresh black eye, courtesy of her brother. Welcome to your new home. We didn't exactly have time to furnish it, but we hope you enjoy the comfort of a plain bench and minimal lighting. She gestured to the bare, flickering light bulbs above the cells. If you're lucky, you may get upgraded like your neighbor Taki. He is the only company you'll have. By the way, its around midnight. See you tomorrow! Kaycee skipped away, her job finished and looking forward to tomorrow morning. Jace leveled his gaze on Noel and his face split into a cruel smile. Then, he turned and left the dungeon- slamming the door behind him with a definitive click.
At the moment, Noel's neighbor Taki was sleeping. But in the morning... he and his new next door roommate would have much to talk about.

Noel was awokened roughly, although he didn't really care. Torture... again? He had met a far worse spell before. He remembered his first mission. He failed that one although he did sent the object to its designated point. He was double crossed, and the result was several deep gashes and a near death experience. He was thirteen. He was older now, but the results would not differ...
As the twins left him to rot in his cell, he smiled as his logic slowly returned. He could feel himself growing more unstable as each day passed. Maybe all other twins feel this when the other was dead? But how could he forget... How could he...
With a wave of his hand, a white notebook appeared. Although it was not as large as his black book, but it would suffice as he prepared this one as a backup spell book. With a bitter smile, he chanted as a soft white light enveloped him. He could feel the damage within him and his wounds were slowly repairing.
Heal.
When the process had finished, he felt completely refreshed. With another wave, the book was gone. He sighed a bit as he looked at the glowing light above him. It would be morning soon...

Taki woke up at 6 am. He only knew this because his modern-ish cell held a ticking clock above his bed. It also had a semi-comfortable bed with two blankets and a pillow, one chair and table in a corner and in the other was a toilet hidden by a screen. It was pretty bland but at least it wasn't entirely empty or uncomfortable. He stretched and rolled out of his bed, pulling off the entangled sheets from his body.
Every three days, the Archangels gave Tak a clean outfit to wear. However, it always consisted of the basic elements: One dark wash jeans, one plain black t-shirt, and one plain black hoodie. He slept in the pair of boxers his abductors gracefully allowed him to change each day. His dark hair hair was unruly as always and stuck up all over his head. Strands of bang covered his forehead, his blazing blue eyes peeking through casually.
Those same eyes flickered over to the cell beside him, lit up now by a sliver of sunlight through a narrowly barred window across the hall from his cell. Last night, it had only held a single wooden bench. Today a human was on it.
Curiously, Taki called over. It didn't matter if he whispered or not. There were no other captive slaves in this area - or there wasn't until now. Hey you! Wake up, will you? Jace will be here soon and I don't get breakfast unless any other person in this area does. Which now unfortunately, includes you.

A ray of sunlight escaped into the cell from the top of the wall. Of course, this small opening was far too small, and far too high for escaping. Indeed, certain mutant powers would allow the prisoners to escape, but he wasn't one of them. Maybe this was a time for him to recover for a while as he dragged himself to the hard, cold wooden bench. He was just laying around lazily until the person in the opposite cell called to him.
"Jace...? Oh, you mean the guy with the blue hair?" He could vaguely remember the guy tossed a bucket of icy water onto him. "I'm already awakened, so I don't think that would be a problem." He smiled back weakly to him. However, he knew that this guy wouldn't be happy if he found out the black eye he was given had already healed, so they might end up with no breakfast anyway...
Not his problem, since he had always prepared himself. He have hoarded supplies of food and fresh water for god knows how many days just because he could. And it seems that he could put them to good use for now. But too cause all the other prisoners to lose their breakfast... He could only shake his head.
"It seems I'm going to be here for a pretty long time. The name's Noel. You?" He asked the person across.
[OOC: I'm having Noel conveniently forget that he could just remove the door. :] ]

{OOC: Thanks } Taki reached for his daily attire and folded the hoodie neatly on his bed instead of putting it on. He quickly slipped into the clothing and took a seat on his desk chair, crossing one leg, so he could face his new neighbor. Yeah, the completely heartless one? I think we're talking about the same guy. Taki answered, measuring the new kid up and down with his clear blue eyes. He would probably survive for awhile and seemed pretty strong-willed which was almost a necessity for this place. Taki ran a hand through his matted hair and sighed. I've been here for two and a half years but you'll probably be here less. You seem kinda important. Tak said enviously. I'm Taki Sato. Resident prisoner and your guide to the dungeon of the DA"s Corporation. If you look to your left, you'll see stone. Lots of it. Taki joked with a slight smile.

"Yes, the completely heartless one." He smiled back. The boy seemed to be just fine, and he seems pretty... um, what's the word, harmless. He had only felt it in two other people: another boy named Tristan and his older brother Leon. He never he could find this kind of feeling again. As the boy introduced himself, he took a deep breath.
"Two and a half years? The corporation's security must have been very tight. As for being important..." He smiled bitterly as he shook his head. "That's only because I had something very important that's belonged to them. Once they got it, or figured that the can't get it, I'll figure that they will want me dead."
"Nice to meet you, Taki. I am Noel Sanders. Speaking of which, how many others are there in this hole?" He asked Taki with a curious tone. Not exactly his first time in a dungeon, prison or cell, but definitely his first time in a dungeon belonged to the Archangel Corporation.

Taki had discovered the benefits in being completely honest about such things as death and torture. Most people didn't want him beating around the bush about their fate, and frankly, Tak didn't like being that guy. So he nodded matter of factly. Yeah probably. If you're lucky, the DA might cut you some sort of slack. And this place has some intense security. Jace is one of the important ones but there are far worse above him. Thankfully, they don't usually bother with me. It's you they will want to talk to. Taki shrugged his shoulders with regret and was relieved when Noel changed the subject.
Currently? Just you and myself. Others come here every once and awhile but honestly, they don't stick around much. I'm one of the only people they care about keeping here. That I can blame on the Dark Angel himself. Taki added bitterly, looking around his cell absently.
Taki, Taki, Taki. Kaycee appeared at the foot of the stairs, holding a plate of food in her hands and an evil glint in her emerald eyes. Are you spilling our company secrets again? She spoke to him as if he were a lap dog and scooped some food onto one of the plates she had on the tray.
Never Kaycee. Taki spoke quietly, ashamed Noel was watching the whole demeaning exchange between him and one of the head Archangels.
Good. Now what do you say for the food? She prompted him, holding the plate temptingly before the food flap.
Kaycee, you are the most intelligent and beautiful Archangels there is and will ever be. Taki spoke the rehearsed lines with a sigh of reluctance and accepted the plate hungrily but shamefully.
Kaycee turned her wicked grin upon Noel. Hello newbie. If you would like some breakfast, I expect you to repeat the sentence. Of course you won't want to but soon enough you will be hungry enough to say it and then it will just be habit. Oh and its different for Jace. She winked at Noel and tilted her head expectantly, the very full breakfast plate in one hand.

Noel listened to Taki as he explained the situation to him and he himself slipped into the corner of his cell with his feet folded, but where he could still see Taki. He never expected for the other teen to know so much of this place. The DA? Who is this 'Dark Angel' that seemed to be so important? And there were other prisoners being moved in and out of the dungeon? Why weren't Taki moved out of this place yet? Just as Noel was going to ask more about the place, a very familiar voice (and one he wished he couldn't remember) appeared, sounding very, very... what was the word? Ah, yes. Evil.
Noel looked at the exchange of words between Taki and Kaycee. All he could say was Taki was doing what he was supposed to have done. There was nothing he could do if he wanted to survive in this place. He had seen worse, far worse. He shuddered as he remembered living in the darkness, and the begging for a quick death that was never granted in that man's cell.
Yes, things could have been far worse.
Then he noticed Kaycee walked towards him, her words as venomous as before. He needed to maintain the stamina, but he wasn't near his limits yet. Not to mention that he did reserved some tricks under his sleeve, tricks he rather not reveal to anyone yet. He looked at Taki looked at his plate hungrily, and looked at the girl with a similar plate.
He looked away into the wall and decided not to say a thing.

Taki just shook his head and finished off his plate, dropping it the floor with a loud clatter in the silence that followed. He knew Noel was in for it now. They all learned soon enough.
Kaycee flipped out her dark hair with her naturally vicious smile. Oh newbie, you're so naive. It almost makes me laugh. I would have thought that someone who was entering the torture chamber in a few hours would want a full stomach but apparently thats not true in this case. Or is it? Kaycee asked with a wink, waving the plate past the bars again, the smell of bacon wafting through the cell.

Naive? Well, let's just say he won't eat from his torturer's hands until he had no choice. Although the easier way was to please the torturer with painful cries, he knew that he wouldn't... and couldn't do that. His pride was getting into his way. The woman waved the plate past the bars, the alluring aroma of bacon was slowly seeping into the walls. It won't be gone until a few hours. Noel didn't really care about the woman, but he did care about the words she was saying.
Torture.
A few hours.
Not much information, but that would do for now, He stared back at Kaycee, hoping that he could scare her away, which obviously, wasn't working.

Kaycee smirked. It wasn't anything to her if Noel didn't eat. And this thought was evident in her face as she turned away from Noel, to look at Taki.
She stepped into his cell, leaving the door wide open. Of course, there was no need for a key thanks to her gift and she knew without a doubt Taki would never try and run away. He wouldn't get far anyway and he knew it.
Taki my darling, she cooed, grabbing his face between her hands. Please inform the new one the procedures of torture for me? You know them well enough. Taki nodded glumly and averted his eyes from her piercing gaze. With a tsk, Kaycee slapped his face sharply, leaving a scorching red hand print on his cheek.
I knew I could count on you. She added as she lifted her hands and the door swung open on command. With a wink at Noel, Kaycee clicked Taki's lock back in and strutted out of the dungeon, her black heels clacking on the stone until the door slammed shut behind her.

As the woman turned away and left a mark on Taki face, he just realized what he had done. Simply put, these people don't care about their prisoners. if they could get what they need, everything's fine and dandy. If not, well, they won't care if you die in prison or the torture chamber --- It was simply that way. Kaycee gave him a wink of which he frowned at and left, Noel felt a need to help Taki. But they were too far...
"That b****! Taki, are you alright?! " He wanted to lunge, but all he could do was to sit at his corner, looking at Taki. He hoped he wasn't hurt too much.

Taki looked up in surprise at Noel's concern. Oh yeah, me? I'm fine. She does that all the time. Taki put a soft hand to his face, rubbing the sore part absently. I get used to it.
Tak got up and rolled his shoulders back, sliding the empty plate under the bars to the world outside his cell. With a sigh, he leaned against the harsh grating as his legs had fallen asleep from sitting to long. So anyway, Kaycee wanted me to tell you about the torture. What do you want to know? He asked, spreading his hands apart in an open gesture.

"That's good... " Noel muttered to himself. He wasn't all goody-two-shoes, but looking at Taki reminded him of himself when Leon was still around. Taki was far too similar to the old him, like his own shadow. Now he knew why Leon was always so concerned about him... He WAS the source of his concern. He listened to Taki and he chuckled at his question.
He knew much about torture, he was tortured himself when he was far younger. When he had first become a transporter. When he first faced the darkness of the real world. He closed his eyes as he reminiscence about all the evil and cruelty he had faced after Leon died and he left his parents. Compared to them, this was nothing.
At least they kept you fed.
And they ignored the fact that the biggest fear came from the unknown.
He opened his eyes and fixed on Taki. "What can you tell me about it?"

Taki watched Noel intently. After being in captivity for almost two years now, he had learned many things. One of them was, he shouldn't interrupt people when they were thinking. Especially if they were so deep in concentration that they had their eyes closed. So Taki waited patiently, moving yet again from the wall back to his bed.
And when Noel finally reopened his eyes, Tak was ready to respond. Ok well they have a few varieties that are categorized into five levels of pain, Taki began casually, leaning back against his single pillow. So there is the first and second levels, where they mostly just give you little amounts of pain. Like Jace will shock you or punch you or something to that effect. Level three is the big guns. Give you a broken rib or shock you so much you burn. Level four is more mental. They twist your mind around, make you remember things you always want to forget. Bring up things that make you scream and cry and hurt emotionally and you're begging them to stop. And level five... Taki trailed off, his gaze drifting past Noel. Well, I have never actually been to that one. But I hear its bad. Its the one that usually ends up with people either dead or in a coma. Any questions? Taki finished, coming back to earth and glancing over at Noel curiously.
