{Me, use a pointless post as an area to preview/keep track of a post I'm working on? Ha, right, right. . .I wouldn't do something like that . . . Okayy, I just did XD I'm pretty sure you'll get over it though, especially when you figure out that it doesn't bother me.}
People can prove there is a solid mass of matter on this earth. It goes by many names like rocks, dirt, sand, grass, or even just ground. If you ask me, that doesn't count for much. That ground shakes, it breaks, it gives way to liquid water rather than keeping it's place. The ground is just a coward pretending to be tough. Like parents that say you're grounded- it's like they're saying they want you to think they're tough, even when you just proved you didn't care what they say. But when I sleep? I'm scared to hit the ground. When I sleep, I'm moving too fast, and the ground will hurt. So I always wake up before I make contact with the solid surface. Always. I just know I won't hit it, the same way I just know things in my dreams. There doesn't have to be a reason when I close my eyes.
And, everyone falls down sometimes. Actually, everyone falls down a lot of times, especially little kids. But I'm not a little kid anymore and I know how to stay on my feet. Only accidents make me fall. Except, when I go to sleep. I fall a lot while I sleep, because there's no ground.
Chesh was not anticipating the departure of the lady he offered the flower to, and his surprise was evident on his expression. But he pulled himself together and smiled, walking over to Mykka's bed.
"I'm Dr. Snow's son. I thought you could use a flower, and I usually make it a habit to meet the patients.."he smiled, offering her the flower."I'm sorry about scaring your friend away- I didn't mean to."
