Wake up in the morning feeling like P Diddy (Hey, what up girl?) Grab my glasses, I'm out the door, I'm gonna hit this city (Lets go) Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack 'Cause when I leave for the night, I ain't coming back
As Ally usually did on a Saturday when she was alone and bored (only so because Paige was working), she went to the park. Although the park was quite a distance from her house, this wasn't a big deal, because she always managed to run over in record time.
But what could a teenager possibly do in a park all alone? Well easy. Ally had her iPod, and she left her dignity at home. When she arrived, the first thing she noted was that there was nobody else here. Or at least as far she could see.
I'm talking pedicure on our toes, toes Trying on all our clothes, clothes Boys blowing up our phones, phones Drop-topping, playing our favorite CDs Pulling up to the parties Trying to get a little bit tipsy
She went and sat on the bench, tilting her head back to look at the sky, but this only entertained her for a little while. After a few seconds she got bored.
With a mischevious smirk she pulled the earplugs from her ear and turned the music up full blast. Hey, there was nobody else here, so she didn't have to worry about 'disturbing others' or whatever. She hoped off the bench and started dancing around the park, not really caring how dumb she might look. Nobody else here.
It was such a nice day, she found it odd that nobody else was here. But whatever, she wasn't going to jinx it or whatever. More park for her.
Then she started yelling the lyrics, rather obnoxiously. Hey, might as well take advantage of being alone, right?
Don't stop, make it pop DJ, blow my speakers up Tonight, I'mma fight 'Til we see the sunlight Tick tock on the clock But the party don't stop, no

(Hello, thought I’d respond if that’s cool ) Anika loved the night, the colors that many just passed off as dark or creepy she saw as beautiful waves cascading through a dimly lit world, of course she night even more because people were easy to mess with. Of course she wouldn’t seriously harm someone… much, but what was the harm in having a little fun. As she set out from her apartment on her mission of having fun she though that she was also avoiding sitting at “home” alone. It was depressing to sit alone, she had spent the past five hours redecorating her apartment, well changing every colour to their complementary one, then just randomly messing with them. She finally left somewhat satisfied with her mural of a giant glass picture of water on her roof pouring out hundreds of different bright colors around her walls. Still she still felt lonely even with her totally awesome mural, and it was better to be out around strangers, than alone. As she adjusted her cap and brushed an amber brown lock of hair out of her face she allowed color waves to pass through her and she disappeared into the night. It was always more fun to mess with people when they couldn’t see you, now all she needed was a victim. She began walking through the regal gates entering the northern park. Oh a gazebo someone should be in there, nope .Lame, oh well could use a paint job. Den’s hand brushed the railing and the gazebo turned into a bright yellow beacon, the “illusion” wouldn’t last long though probably a couple of hours, so no harm done Den figured. After a few more minuets of wandering, changing the water in the fountain to blood red and making a few trees magenta Den began to give up on finding anyone to “freak out” she heard someone singing off in the distance. Don't stop, make it pop DJ, blow my speakers upA plan came to mind, oh this was going to be good Den began thinking how diabolical she could get. Tonight, I'mma fight 'Til we see the sunlightHopefully the person wasn’t to skittish though cause she would miss the best part, oh well even if she was it would be funny. Of course it was all in fun though she wasn’t into permeate damage or anything, she might even apologize after, not personally but in disguise. Tick tock on the clock But the party don't stop, noFirst thing first Den blocked all color and therefore light from the person, making it essentially pitch black, she waited for a reaction for the rest of her plan to begin.

-Thats fine. I was waiting to anyone to post. Haha, this is gonna be fun. Ally's gonna freak out-
For a bit, Ally had closed her eyes. It helped her imagine she was out partying or something rather then dancing around a park all alone.
She opened her eyes, and was amazed. She couldn't see a thing. What was going on. She felt herself until she found her pocket and she put her iPod on pause.
Okay... She spoke out loud. She needed to think. Stay Calm. Maybe she had wandered over into the forest? She spun in a circle. No, definitely couldn't see anything.
She took a deep breath. She tried waving her hand in her face. Couldn't see that either, so that meant she hadn't managed to slip into some weird third dimension.
Though she wasn't sure if this came as a relief or a cause to panic. If she wasn't in another dimension then.... HOLY CRAP! I'M BLIND! She screamed, spinning in circles. Okay. Stay calm.... Stay calm. She repeated to herself over and over again. This did not help her at all.
She knelt down until she felt the grass and sat down. It seemed a lot safer to sit and stay in place then to continue running in circles. Okay, okay, okay. I need to think... She brought her hands to her temples and started rubbing, as if this was some sort of method to help her think.

This was way to easy Anika thought as she laughed, quickly bringing her hand to cover her mouth as if she could stop the already released sound. Oh well I’ll go with it she began laughing as evilly as she could. She sounded quite demonic though she only wanted create a mood, not scare her victim too much. As her cackling continued she started to create bright white color waves coming from the path ahead of Ally almost as if a tunnel of white light had appeared ahead of her. Anika made sure that there was nothing blocking the path so that if it was approached, as she believed it would be, her victim would be able to walk without hitting a tree and ruining the whole thing.
On the other side of the white Anika began crafting a charcoal black path that was surrounded by black rose bushes, with elegant roses that at first looked black or red, but when examined further were the color of dried blood. She even added a few bleeding roses for effect, of course they were just images, if you touched them your hand would just simply pass through them like it would the light from a projector. Still Anika was proud of her creation they were beautiful and dark at the same time, and as she finished the last bush she reached down picking one and looking at it in her hand. She loved that she could manipulate her creations so they looked solid, she couldn’t feel the dark petals on her hand, and the rose had no weight, but as she brushed a drop of blood of the petal it stained her finger and she smiled. This was going to be interesting….

As Ally sat contemplating how to proceed with her current predicament, she saw a white light. Okay... things were getting really weird now. She heard an eveil laughter, but at the same time, it just sounded deeply amused.
Alright, someone had to be playing some kind of joke on her. Had to be a mutant. However, Ally would play along for now.
She stood up, wiping her pants off and began following the white light. Gee... I hope I'm not walking to my death. She spoke out loud. At this point, she knew she wasn't, but she might as well have some fun.

She had begun to walk towards the light, perfect, as she spoke about walking to her death Anika heard a slight hint of sarcasm and knew she wasn’t being very convincing. A rush of guilt flew over her and Anika felt like she should call it all of and just disappear, but she had put so much effort into the illusion already she didn’t want to waist it. Oh well. Den sprinted to the edge of her rose bushes, and began to weave thorn bushes into them, so when they stopped the thorns would keep going, steadily growing until they were nearly as tall as the trees in the park. Den paused whipping sweat from her forehead taking a minuet to breath, it was a strain to make a believable illusion, she had to create and manipulate every single color wave making sure they looked realistic, and then she had to give them power, so they would remain for a longer than just a few minuets.
She needed to find an easier way to continue, she realized, or she would surly pass out. The trees ahead looked kind of spooky she realized, maybe if they had no leaves. She caused the waves to pass through leaves, okay that’s good, but it needs something else, and quick the girl from the park should almost be through her rose bushes. Bodies, ya dead people always spook people especially if they’re hanging from trees. Anika began creating the most gruesome corpses hanging from the park trees as if a massacre had occurred, she remembered a few people she had seen earlier today and hoping that the almost familiar faces would creep the girl out more, she used them as a base image to create her monstrosities. When she finished she was almost drenched with sweat, Ewe I stink, but Anika was proud, her corpses were truly horrid. A few heads were impaled on various branches, the eyes open and staring, as if they were constantly watching you. Numerous random segments of bodies hung or were draped from the stronger areas of the trees, and they leaked different juices, and to finish she had created three full people, one impaled to a tree with what looked like a steak, and the other two hanging by the neck from what appeared to be their own entrails. Wow I’m a little sick Den thought, but she realized that if she was truly sick and disturbed she wouldn’t have even thought that making this was kinda weird, and crazy, and she had so she wasn’t. Adding the final touch of making the whole background black and the path charcoal, now stained with blood splatters, Den ran forward to the gazebo to finish the final stage of her plan.

Ally took her time weaving through the rose-thorn bushes. It didn't take very long for her to realize that the roses were bloody and some were bleeding, but still. She was in the midst of a very powerful mutant, and she might as well enjoy the full extenet of their ability, no matter how bizarre or twisted it might be.
Ally followed the path to the end and stopped. She stood staring at the creepy trees and the corpses hanging from them. She knew it was an illusion, mainly because she knew the park's forest did not look anything like this, but it was so realistic, and the amount of details put into the image was amazing.
But at the same time it was kind of sickening. This is depressing. Ally said, reaching back into her pocket and blasting the music on her iPod.
I'm talking about everybody getting crunk, crunk Boys tryin' to touch my junk, junk Gonna smack him if he getting too drunk, drunk Now, now, we go until they kick us out, out Or the police shut us down, down Police shut us down, down Po-po shut us
Ally grinned to herself. There we go. Much better! She said, looking at the corpses and tilting her head to the side, much like an artist who was observing a masterpiece would.
Don't stop, make it pop DJ, blow my speakers up Tonight, I'mma fight 'Til we see the sunlight Tick tock on the clock But the party don't stop, no
Ally turned the volume of her music down, spinning in a circle. Okay, I think I'm done here. She wasn't really sure where the mastermind behind this was, so she probably looked silly, but it was the best she could come up with. I know my name is Allison, but I'm done feeling like Alice in Wonderland. She called out.

Anika was almost to the gazebo when she heard the girl yelling behind her. Awe really she sounded not freaked out at all this sucked. Den was nearly asleep with the strain that she put in to her dark creation and as she walked up towards Allison (“invisible” of course) Allison seemed almost relaxed. Well at least she could make the most of it. She had purposely made the staked victim look like her so if anything went wrong she would have a good entry or if she appeared later the person would be all like “You were dead!” Anika dissolved the illusion of the staked person as she took its pace, then she walked off the bloody tree, her hair black, eyes a dried blood color and she was wearing a black gown that flowed gently down to her bare blood stained feet. She would’ve looked almost elegant except for the hole where the “stake” was, and her eyes, but Den figured that Allison must have figured that she was insane or kind of off and she wanted to look the part. As she walked up behind Alice as quietly as possible she began to talk. “Really I put a lot of effort into this, the least you could’ve done was act scared it wasn’t like I was going to kill you or anything. Oh and come on Alice in Wonderland I don’t think Wonderland has a corpse forest place thingy.” Den laughed she was going for the insane creepy and she might’ve looked the part but she needed to work on her acting. She couldn’t believe she said thingy, she was really losing her edge now. Oh well she guessed she should apologize it was the least she could do. “ Sorry if it makes you feel better I was really, really bored.” With a snap she dissolve all her hard work, except for her self image and then turned to leave. It’s my own fault she thought I had to move to the town with all the “weird” activity so they’re all used to it, no one is scared of corpses.

Allison admired the scene, no matter how grotesque and twisted it was, until it had completely dissolved and faded from sight. She was aware of another voice speaking from behind her. Probably the person who had been laughing before and the mutant who had created the whole illusion.
Well Alice in Wonderland's world wasn't completely normal either. Might not have had crazy bleeding flowers and corpses hanging by their own stomaches, but she did have some weird encounters with less then normal people. She pointed out and turned around to finally put a face to the voice and mutant.
Instantly a smile made its way to her face. Hey nice! One of those bodies looked just like you! That's some mad skills you got there! She stuck her hand out. I'm Allison!

This was not the reaction that Anika had expected, she appreciated that the girl had noticed her flowers and originality of her corpses, but she thought that she would be mad at least. Yet here the girl complemented her on her “mad skills” and introduced herself as if Den hadn’t been trying to scare her for the past few minuets. Oh well Den sighed she was still happy with the unexpected results or her prank, and she noticed that she was a “corpse” this was actually kind of awesome. She turned back to Allison and shook her hand. “I’m Den, nice to meet you. Oh thanks for noticing that the corpse was me, you wouldn’t know how many people miss the details I put in.”
Den gave her best smile, but it faded as she wondered why the girl hadn’t been afraid, any normal person would have. No better way to find out than to ask, “So why weren’t you afraid at all, like there almost anyone would’ve at least been really crept out?”

Allison eyed Den up and down a few times, as though measuring her. [bHey there Den![/b] Now that she had a name to place to the master of illusions and the voice.
And then Den asked why Ally wasn't creeped out or afraid of the whole illusion thing. Ally grinned and shrugged. I grew up in Bayville. I think I know the forest well enough to know there's no creepy dark dead body section to the forest. I knew the whole thing just had to be some kind of illusion, and it would only be a matter of time before you shut it off, or let me out or whatever. She felt a small laugh coming on. I think the scariest part of the whole thing was when you had me thinking I had suddenly gone blind.
Now it was Ally's turn to ask the questions. So, why exactly were you trying to scare me?

Anika knew that Allison was sizing her up a bit, but she didn’t mind it wasn’t like she couldn’t change her appearance at a moments notice and Allison wouldn’t know the difference. The joyful greeting that followed was a surprise to Anika though, but after the previous reactions that Allison had Anika was getting used to it. As Allison explained her lack of fear, and that the easiest part Dens illusion was the scariest Den cursed inwardly. She knew she shouldn’t have gone all out, but oh well. Then the question about why she had, or tried to scare Allison, Den had to take a minuet to think. “Honestly I was actually kinda board. Really there is like nothing to do her how do you survive?” Anika laughed as she finished, cause it was true all this was driven by boredom, she wondered what historical events were boredom driven. For a moment she got lost in her boring history search through her head and she forgot that she was talking to someone, but she quickly turned her attention back to Allison and waited for a response or something.

Allison laughed. Yah, I guess it can get boring if you're new around here. Growing up here, you learn where all the best places are, and I've got my friends to keep me company. Well, actually my best friend is currently working, but when she's not we're always together.
She grinned and shrugged her shoulder. You'll find things to do. Park, Museum, movies, theatres, gym, what have you. Whatever appeals to you. Sometime I like to just exercise my powers, you know?
Since Den had already made it clear she was a mutant, and appeared to be trustworthy, Ally figured she could let Den in on her own little secret. So, just out of curiousity, are you alone? Or with the X-|Men or the Corporation?

Den was thrilled that Allison didn’t seem upset that she had messed with her just cause she was bored, but Den didn’t expect Allison to just say that she had powers “Woha, you’re a mutant? Really? What can you do?” Then she mentioned the Institute, Corporation and lone thing and Den was totally lost. “I think I’m lone, cause the Institute sounds like an place for crazy people and the Corporation reminds me of Wal-Mart for some strange reasons. What are they any way?”

Allison grinned. Her power was extrodinairy in its own way, but when held in comparison to someone like say, Paige, her powers were fairly lame. Though they had their advantages and allowed her to do things others only dreamed of. Super speed and endurance. She boasted. Now when held into comparison of someone who could create illusions and such, she seemed to sit on the same level.
Oh, the institute is when the X-Men crowd lives. They're those pack of super heroes who believe we- she gestured to her and Den to signify she meant mutants, -can co-exist with humans. And the Corporation is for the Archangel and his lackeys. They're out to make sure mutants rule or something like that. I'm not really positive aboutwhat their mission in life is. She shrugged. That's why I'm still alone. I haven't decided which side I want to take, or if I want to take a side at all.
