When you can't bring feeling like you always should, you know everything is not always good.
Standing on a pocket of change, waiting until you're proud to say, "everything is going to be alright"
I didn't mean to be so mean, I only tell you what I see. I'm never lying 'cause it'll do no good.
&& . basics //
full name;; Cymir [Cy-mere] Jacques Vasser
nickname;; Cy, Cym, C.J.
gender;; Male
age;; Seven
birthday;; November Tenth
birthplace;; Concord, Massachusetts
sexual orientation;; Unknown/undecided
phobias;;
Being Stuck In The Past -- at times it's hard for him to get back to the present, and as it so happens, he gets very upset by the thought that he might not be able to get back to a familiar, rightful place.
Traveling Without Intent -- there are times when Cymir is sent into the past without any indication of where, when, or why he's leaving. It's disorienting and frightening for him.
Strangers -- Cymir has a hard time with strangers. He wants to be around familiar people, he listens to them, to do exactly what they want.
limitations;; None to note
personality;; Cymir is an obedient but quiet child. He is trusting of familiar people, but very reluctant around strangers especially when their personalities aren't immediately identifiable as 'nice'. Being nice to him is the way to his heart which may be true for many people, but is particularly true for him.
Cymir doesn't always act like a seven year old. He has grown subdued from his power. He's had to learn to deal with something that was a little out of his league. But Cymir doesn't complain. Cymir lets himself be content, he lets himself live life and react to the present. It isn't hard when people are nice to him to get him to use his power the way they want.
Cymir is like a spoiled kid in many ways. He feels entitled at times, and he thinks he's more special than he is. He also has a way of thinking he's right. His most annoying trait is his curiosity- he asks a lot of questions to the people he likes. They're usually random questions that he comes up with on a moments notice, but some are related to whatever it is that they're talking about. He seems to want to know every detail when others are content to get by with the generalized explanation. Not that he understands much of it by any means. Acknowledging him is essential.
history;; Cymir was born in Concord. He was born their and raised there, but he ended up in Bayville when he met a man who was part of the Archangels- Cymir traveled with him to an earlier time in the Corporation's history. The man told someone Cymir didn't know about his power and before Cymir knew what was happening, he had been kidnapped to Bayville. It didn't matter too much to him other than the fact that he didn't know any of the people there. In Concord he had no family that mattered. He felt like the burden child, the one that wasn't supposed to be born, to intrude on the perfect picture that was his family's life before him. But it wasn't all bad, he didn't have much to complain about. It just wasn't the most tragic thing in the world to have a change in scenery.
When Cymir came to Bayville, he was immediately housed at the Corporation. They put a bracelet on his wrist with a tracker so that no matter where he went, they wouldn't lose him. They could also track him with GPS units which made any attempt Cymir may have made to leave end in failure. After all, though he could travel back in time, he couldn't travel without the bracelet, and he was bound to return to the present eventually. When he traveled, they could see the place he was even when it was in another state or even another nation, so if they would wait for the location to switch to a more local one, then they'd go and get him to keep him close. An interesting thing to note was that when he traveled, his signal did disappear. He would go off the grid for anywhere between less than a second to almost a minute depending on how far he was traveling, and of course how quickly the system would react to the switch.
Cymir doesn't seem to mind the tracker (or understand entirely that they can always find him), but he does have a tendency to hide. Not because he doesn't like the people who will be looking for him, but because he likes the attention. He seems to realize that he's important to them, so he likes to see their reaction.
Cymir loves candy and affection. He doesn't like being the youngest kid in a group, but it's hard to help when in the Archangel Corporation. That's the reason he doesn't spend a whole lot of time in the building. Besides that, some of the people to be found in that building can be mean and he tends to hide from them whenever possible.
&& . mutants only //
codename;; N/A, though he often says he wants one when he gets older
power(s);; He only knows of two powers; the ability to teleport from place to place, and the ability to teleport to a specific point in time.
affiliation;; Though Cymir is the Archangel's pet, he doesn't seem to mind the X-Men at all. In fact, he'd be just as willing to use his power for them as he would for an Archangel given he knows the person asking. He doesn't seem to feel a need to chose a side at all. He does have to go back to the Corporation to sleep, but other than that he seems pretty free to do as he pleases.
