STAINED.RESONANCE
We all know that strange person that may live down the street, go to school or work with us, but do we ever think beyond that thought? Perhaps there's something special about those "weird" individuals that none of us can understand.
In the past couple of years leading to 2010, change has been in the air. Alongside drastic shifts in the leadership of the United States of America came adjustments in how the country was to be run. Though, unbeknownst to most of society, there was a potential issue growing larger by the day: Mutants. Though the majority of them prefer to walk around with the facade of normalcy, there are always those select few rebelling against the unwritten laws they
set.
In Westchester County, New York, lies Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, a haven for mutants from all corners of the world. With the help of others, mutants can not only learn about their amazing abilities but how to control them and how they should act in society.
Not everybody was happy with Charles Xavier's decision to appease humans, though. Magneto, Xavier's adversary and friend, believed that human-kind would never accept those with mutant abilities, leading him to form his own group of followers: The Brotherhood. Under Magneto's lead, The Brotherhood's agenda is to let all humans know that mutants exist and that they're ready for anything they plan to throw their way.
With the two prominent groups at either end, others fear that the day will come when they may be unveiled to the world. Unprepared for what lies ahead, they hope that their efforts to remain incognito will be successful. After all, if they're revealed, what more will they be to humans besides stained?
